The beginning of Motovilikhinskii district
In October 2008 Motovilikhinskii district celebrated its 70th anniversary, it's better to say its name anniversary. There was a big manufacturing centre, called "Motovilikha", till 1938 and in the 1930s - Molotov city. At the end of 19 century this territory was called "Motovilikhinskii zavod" (factory). The 3 April 1918 Motovilikha became a part of Perm city. In July 1927 Motovilikha became a district of Perm city. The 27 August 1928 it became an urban-type settlement. Since 1931 Motovilikha was called Molotov city and was totally independent of Perm. The 3 October Molotov was a part of Perm city as Motovilikhinskii district. If you look through the history of this district, you'll understand that it is quite similar to history of Russia in that time.
