Quote: «The idea of Molot has been given to Eduard Boriakov by the philologist from Perm Vladimir Abashev, who knew a lot about the local mythology. As Abashev says, the old Perm is situated on a giant swamp. The cast iron remains of it are buried somewhere at the territory of the Motovolikha Plant. “The grandiose artifact” and “memorial of the industrial age” as heavy as 630 ton has dug into the body of the city more than a century ago. There is one more thing that connects Molot and the real past of Perm: it was called Molotov sometime before.» — Liubov Mulmenko, 2009.
