Perm Arbat, Perm
June 1, 2011 (specially for the City Day, which is celebrated on 12 June), a pedestrian street finally appeared in Perm. The event for the residents of this great city is significant and long-awaited. «Perm Arbat» — so nicknamed this place — has become a new highlight of Perm, which all the locals certainly glad. The city has long lacked a place where you could easily walk and admire the surrounding buildings and just enjoy the good weather. On this street, stylized «antique», you feel youself really peaceful. Adults smile, , looking at winning new colors Perm street (not so long ago it was called: Kirov), and in the meantime the children excited about the new playground on which they are so fun to spend their free time.
Shops of painters, potters, craftsmen and blacksmiths located in "Perm Arbat". You can not only buy souvenirs, but also to watch the process of making a work of art. The real forge is situated on the street from which both children and adults in indescribable delight. Well, where they could see firsthand the process of manufacturing various metal products? «Perm Arbat» gives such opportunity to citizens and tourists. People do not need to go anywhere, enough just walk along the reconstructed street. Permians can admire sculptures such as the metal rose, the engine, the dwarf, the monk, the Dragon, the Money Tree and others. You also can see the street performers and live music on «Perm Arbat». In general, this is the perfect place for creative individuals who have long needed a place where they could show others their multifaceted talents.
There are a lot of benches and lanterns, stylized «antique», a fountain with light dynamic lighting, restored old buildings — the beauty, and more! And if passers-by get tired or hungry, so they can go to the cafe, are located right on Permskaya Street. The city administration has done everything that a rest of Permian was as pleasant as possible. Judging by the happy faces of people strolling along the new street, they succeeded.
The «Perm Arbat» had open and after rumors were that it wants to extend to Sibirskaya_street. Now it is from the Komsomolsk Avenue to Gazeta Zvesda Street — just one quarter. Well, many Permian hope that this project will be implemented in the near future.
