- воспитывать желание говорить на английском языке - развивать умение работать в сотрудничестве

Ход урока

- Good morning, boys and girls! I am glad to see you. Today we have an interesting lesson. We will play the game «Crosses and zeroes». - Now we have two groups. You will have the name «Crosses» and you will have the name «Zeroes». Please, choose the captains. - Look at the blackboard, please. You can see the table for our game. You will open one of the squares and have the task to do. Each group will do the task and we will decide which group is the best and put zero or a cross into the square. At the end of our lesson we will count the crosses and zeroes and will name the winner of our game. Well, are you ready to start the game? Let's start! «Crosses», please, open one of the squares.

Task 1:

«Translator» (игра «Переводчик») Now each of the teams will get a list of phrases in Russian. Your task is to translate it into English. Each member of the team should translate only one phrase. (the captain may help you) and then you give the card to another pupil. The team, which is the quickest is the winner. Ребята, сейчас каждая из команд получит карточку со словосочетаниями на русском языке. Вам необходимо перевести все словосочетания на английский язык. Каждый ученик переводит только одно словосочетание (в случае, если он не справляется, ему может помочь капитан команды), а затем передаёт карточку другому. Игра продолжается до тех пор, пока одна из команд полностью не справится с заданием. Побеждает та команда, выполнившая задание быстрее и правильнее.

«Captains championship» («Конкурс капитанов»)

Each of the captains gets a card with a task. Your task is to put the necessary letters into the gaps. Who completes most of the words is the winner. You have 3 minutes! Капитаны получают карточки с заданиями. Ваша задача: вставить пропущенные буквы и прочитать слова. Побеждает та команда, где большее количество правильно записанных слов.

Now each of the teams is to choose one pupil. You are to do the commands that I tell you. Those, who make fewer mistakes, win. Сейчас каждая из команд выберет одного ученика, который будет участвовать в этом конкурсе. Задача вышедшего ученика: выполнять те упражнения зарядки, которые я буду называть. Ученик, выполнивший задания безошибочно или с наименьшим количеством ошибок приносит своей команде победу в данном конкурсе.

Task 4:

«Crossword» (Кроссворд)

Now, please, solve the crosswords and guess the key-word. The quickest team is the winner. Каждая из команд получает карточку с кроссвордом. Задача команд – заполнить как можно быстрее все клетки кроссворда и узнать ключевое слово.

«Guess the words» (Игра «Угадай слова») Now, put the letters in the right order and then read. You have 3 minutes! Каждая из команд получает карточку с заданием. В этой карточке буквы расположены не по порядку. Задача каждой из команд – расшифровать слова и прочитать их.

«Friendly Numbers» (Дружные числа) 

Each of the teams will get cards. On your cards you have alphabets. Each letter has its number. Using them, please, solve the riddles and guess the words. You have 5 minutes! Ребята, сейчас вы получите алфавит, буквы которого пронумерованы. Ниже написаны цифры. Ваша задача: по данным цифрам расшифровать слова или словосочетания и прочитать их.

Task 8: «Detectives» (Детективы)

Children, now imagine you are detectives and you investigate one important case. Each of the teams gets a card with only one sentence. The team «Crosses» will get a sentence «Tom came» and the team «Zeroes» will get a sentence «Alice went». You should ask of all sorts of the questions to your sentence. Who asks more questions without mistakes is the winner. You have 3 minutes! Ребята, сейчас представьте, что вы детективы и расследуете одно очень важное дело. Каждая команда получит карточку только с одним предложением. У команды «Crosses» - это предложение «Tom came», а у команды «Zeroes» - «Alice went». Вам необходимо задать к этому предложению всевозможные вопросы. В этом конкурсе побеждает лишь та команда, которая задаст без ошибок как можно больше вопросов.

Task 9

Now each of the teams will get a letter. Your task is to read this letter and to put the necessary words into the gaps. The words are above the text. The team, who makes fewer mistakes, wins. You have 3 minutes! Сейчас каждая из команд получит письмо. Ваша задача: прочитать его и вставить подходящие по смыслу слова. Слова находятся перед текстом. Команда, которая допустит наименьшее количество ошибок – побеждает. Walls, windows, desks, England, classrooms, bookcase, comfortable, blackboard, school.

Dear Betty, Thank you for your letter. It was interesting to know about your 1) school and your uniform. I would like to tell you some things about my school. You know in 2) England schools have names, not numbers. Well, I go to Cedar Grove School. It is not very big. We have ten 3) classrooms and there is a big beautiful hall in it. My classroom is 4) comfortable and always clean. There are twenty 5) desks in it. The teacher's table is near the window. There are three 6) windows in our classroom which are white as is the door. The 7) blackboard is green and the floor is brown. There are nice pictures on the 8) walls. Near the blackboard you can see a big, yellow 9) bookcase. I think that my classroom is the best!

- Children, look at the blackboard, please! There are no empty squares in our table now. Let's count zeroes and crosses. How many crosses do we have? And how many zeroes do we have? - So, the winner of our game is the team «….» . Thank you!!!
