What is the difference among youth subcultures?

Every subculture creates its own values concerning all parts of life,chooses the particular style of music, clothes etc.
Цели исследования
Make a list of most popular youth subcultures;
Describe youth subcultures (values, style of music, clothes, symbols etc);
Find out what subcultures are popular in our city (make a survey);
Take photos of the representatives of the subcultures from our city.

Subculture is a group of people with common interests, that opposes itself to the majority.
Subculters are divided in several types due to the sphere of interest they belong to.
The most popular type of subcultures is the one connected with music.
The followers of these groups imitate images of the singers most popular among them. One of the first musical youth subcultures of our time was the hippies, the youth movement of pacifists and fans of rock music. Many of their image (in particular, fashion for long hair) and worldview migrated to other subcultures. Also we can name Associated with the hippy subculture beatnikov. In Jamaica, the religious and musical movement Rastafari (Rastamana), which, in addition to reggae music and a specific image, had a certain ideology. In particular, among the convictions of the rastamans - pacifism and the legalization of marijuana.

At the beginning of the 20th century sport becomes more and more popular among the youngsters so such groups as bodybuilders and football fans appeared. Nowadays adolescents are still interested in sport and healthy way of life, they do sports regularly but not in the gym. Young people prefer to train in the yard, try to eat in small fractions 5-6 times a day, consume a lot of protein foods. These youngsters are called workouts.
Fast development of the Internet technologies led to appearing of new subculters - hackers, gamers, bloggers etc. Some people are interested in some particular film or cartoon and try to imitate the main characters with the help of clothes and make-up. Such people are called cosplayers.
Subcultures can be divided not only according to interests they are connected with, but also depending on the rate of danger they can lead their members to. For example, being a cosplayer or a workouter doesn/t cause any danager in comparison with being a freak. Freaks are people who express themselves through injuring their bodies.
